FAQs

  • Click the membership button at top of website and you will be directed to the membership page. You need to set up an account and you will get a 7 day free trial for full access and then you can decide on a monthly or 6 monthly membership.

  • Once signed up you can access any of the online library content as many times as you like. You can cancel your membership at any time.

  • To cancel your subscription, simply log into your membership account, navigate to Subscriptions and select Cancel Subscription.

  • You can pay by credit card or enter pay directly into the bank account Kate Physio Limited account number.

  • Click the book now button at top of website and you will be directed to the different locations where the classes are held. Click on the book class drop down button and the classes that are available will show. Click into all the dates you wish to attend.

    If a class you want to book is not showing, it may be fully booked. To get in touch with Kate click the contact button at the top of the website to be put onto a waiting list.

  • Please navigate to Pilates Timetable found under the Services button in the main menu.

  • Prior to attending any of Kate’s mat classes a pre requisite is a one on one assessment. This is a postural assessment, health screen and a time to teach you the Pilates principles. This ensures when you attend Kate’s class you are safe to do so and have a good understanding of what Pilates is and the basic exercises. Please get in touch if you would like to know more about this.

  • Pilates is suitable for all ages and abilities, physio led classes are adapted to suit each individual needs.

    Group classes are available for 16year olds and above. Younger children can do Pilates, please get in touch if you wish to discuss this option further.

  • Yes, generally it is safe and often recommended to keep active and exercise during pregnancy. Prior to attending a class a medical note is required from either your GP or midwife to state they are happy for you to exercise and that there are no medical restrictions. The class would be adapted as you progress through class. ( Please note Kate does not currently run a specific Ante natal class at this time).

    Postnatally, you may attend following around your 6 week check, if your midwife or GP has given you approval. Again exercises would need to be adapted and you would need to do a one on one assessment prior to starting a class.

  • Classes can be booked individually or in a block of 8 weeks.

    Payment is required before commencing a block of classes. Our cancellation policy states if any sessions are missed during the course, the fee is nonrefundable.

    48 hours notice is required prior to the start of the first class or individual class for a full refund of the course. Cancellations made with in the 48hours may forfeit the course fee if the place is unsuccessfully filled.

  • You can book directly for physio online via the book now button at the top of the website. This will direct you to a page where you will see Keep active @Kate Physio.

    Click into the View Practitioners section and click on Kate Horton and a diary with appointment options will be available. If you can not find the appointment you want please contact Kate via the contact button and email Kate your request.
